Privacy Policy for Battle Swap
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Battle Swap is developed by Luke Hartman Games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game collects and how it is used.
What we collect
Battle Swap collects gameplay analytics through PlayFab, a Microsoft service, to help us understand how the game is played. This includes:
- Gameplay and session events — such as when the game is launched, which screens are visited, and when battles start and end (including outcomes and the units used).
- Device and technical data — such as device model, operating system, screen resolution, language settings, and a device identifier used by PlayFab to group events from the same device.
- Approximate location — a country/region-level location derived from your IP address. We do not collect your precise location, and we do not store your full IP address ourselves.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, or contact details through the game.
- We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not serve advertising in the game, and the analytics data is not used for advertising.
How we use the data
Analytics data is used only to understand player activity — for example, how many people are playing, which battles are too hard or too easy, and where players get stuck — so we can improve the game and fix problems.
Data sharing
Analytics events are processed by Microsoft PlayFab on our behalf, under Microsoft's terms and privacy practices. We do not share analytics data with any other third parties, except where required by law.
Data retention and your choices
Analytics data is retained in PlayFab for as long as it is useful for understanding and improving the game. Because the game does not use accounts, analytics events are not linked to your name or contact details. If you have questions about analytics data associated with your device, contact us at the address below and we will help where we reasonably can.
Children
Battle Swap is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond the anonymous analytics described above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data, we will update this policy and revise the "last updated" date above.
